Year 5 and 6 cooking spring rolls and stir fried noodles for Chinese New Year

The chefs at Robin Hood have been setting up a fabulous day or cooking and food tasting for year 5 and 6. Here are the ingredients we used.

Chinese five spice
Ground fennel seeds 茴香种子 Huíxiāng zhǒngzǐ
Star anise 八角 Bājiǎo
Cinnamon 肉桂 Ròuguì
Cloves 丁香 Dīngxiāng
Black pepper 黑胡椒 Hēi hújiāo

Ingredients
Pepper 辣椒 Làjiāo
Pak choi 青菜 Qīngcài
Spring onion 葱 Cōng
Carrots 胡萝卜 Húluóbo
Chilli 辣椒 Làjiāo
Garlic 大蒜 Dàsuàn
Ginger 姜 Jiāng
Peas 豌豆 Wāndòu
Sweet corn 甜玉米 Tián yùmǐ
Bean sprouts 豆芽 Dòuyá
