Some belated Beijing Videos

Here are some amazing things that we saw in Beijing.

Jian Zi is a game we saw played all over Beijing and mainly by adults to keep fit and healthy. I have bought some back so that we can give it a try. According to Wikipedia;

Jiànzi (毽子), ti jian zi (踢毽子), ti jian (踢毽) or jiànqiú (毽球) is a traditional Asian game in which players aim to keep a heavily weighted shuttlecock in the air using their feet and other parts of the body.

We went to an amazing market called Wángfǔjǐng王府井. It was an outdoor market full of Chinese souvenirs and food stalls. The most shocking thing for us teachers were the scorpions on a stick that were alive. They didn’t have a sting in their tail anymore and I am not sure how they tasted.
